Introduction

This workers organization and was created to work the welfare of Somali workers in large especially to seek their rights and prevent all violations against them. It particularly does something the care of working women rights in the terms of pregnant and lactating period.
Objectives

The main objectives are:

- To look for the rights of the workers violated their rights
- To represent for the Somali as trade union in the regional and international meetings and conferences
- To advocate the rights of the workers whether private or public.
- To seek support the Somali workers perturbed such as elevation of their knowledge and other issues faced them and need to be done something
- To participate the reconstruction of Somali country demolished by the civil wars
Previous Activities

The trade union advocated the rights of workers people summing to 53 people in the last year of 2012 and restored their rights by 39 people afflicted various violations
The trade union also participated the salvation of the Somali people stricken by the drought in 2012 collected money and clothes for the vulnerable people

Advocated with the government the law of workers to be completed and clearly be defined the rights of the pension people and the rights of the workers affected damages during working
We participated the conference of Arab labor organization held in Bahrain in 2010

We also participated the session held in Athens Greek for World Federation Trade Union in 2011
We attended the conference held in Beirut – Lebanon in 2011 by Arab confederation trade union and was a yearly meeting

Attended also in the conference held in Sudan in 2012 by African Trade Union Confederation and it was a yearly meeting

Also participated a meeting held in Bruxells- Belgium in 2012 by World Federation Trade Union and was helped by European parliamentarian
Current activities planned for us

- To open trainings in the aspect of management and administration for workers 1911 pervaded through out the county and to provide training to the executive committee of the Trade Union and to rehabilitate the offices destroyed n the civil wars at the headquarter and those in the regions.
- We are planned the programme of HIV/AIDS prevention
- Plans also included the participation of county reconstruction and the emergency projects
Mission

To get energy and asset possessed by this organization to prohibit the violations afflicted to the workers
 To take part in the reconstruction of the country and good governance and make relation with the similar organization in regional and international levels
Vision

We want to see Somali Federation Trade Union be international organization with highly reputation in the field of human rights protection inside and outside the country.
